What is a Fleece roller filter ?
Filter Rollers removes particles and debris from your aquarium, filtering down to a finer microns than other means of mechanical filtration.
HOW OUR FILTER ROLLER WORKS
As water exits your system via overflow, it enters the roller basket. As the fleece begins to clog with debris the water level will begin to rise triggering the sensor. The motor will then operate until the obstruction is clear.

CONTROLLABLE OPTIONS
Manual: Long press the manual button on controller to operate the motor.
Auto: When water triggers the sensor, the motor will operate enough to clear the sensor using fleece as needed.
High efficiency: Single press mode option. The status indicator will flash green.
In high efficiency mode, the system rolls out the entire wet part of the fleece as soon as the water level reaches the sensor.
In normal mode, the system stops rolling as soon as the water level has dropped
To exit high efficiency mode and go back to auto, press the mode button again. There will be no indicators.

Feed: Press feed on controller once to disable unit for 30 minutes. This will enable a blinking red light.
Press feed twice, this will shut the unit off. This will enable a solid red light.
Press feed three times, this will enable the roller back to normal operating procedures.

Malfunction Alarm: An alarm will sound if there is a failure with the unit. The roller will be disabled until the alarm is cleared by pressing the feed button twice. This prevents the motor operating using the whole roll of fleece. Water will still pass through the unit with our emergency overflow.
HOW LONG DOES A ROLL LAST?
Our roles typically last 30 days. This prolongs maintenance on your system without having to worry about constantly changing out mechanical media. WE DO IT FOR YOU!
